Obaatan is a faith-based organization that is dedicated to serving impoverished women and children who are deprived as a result of social abuse and economic hardship. Obaatan provides assistance and opportunities to those in need, encouraging them to grow emotionally and spiritually, find their voices, and embrace hope. This hope will enable these women and children to begin to break their cycle of poverty. Obaatan provides: food and shelter, vocational training, temporary and transitional housing, counseling, healthcare, scholarships, employment assistance, and educational programs. Our objective is to give the underprivileged the resources necessary to become self sufficient and improve their quality of life.
